Come hear about the latest advancements in 3D printing from HP’s Engineering Manager of the 3D Business Unit, David Erickson.
For the past 20 years, David Erickson has served as engineering manager for the Technology Development Organization (TDO) within HP’s Imaging and Printing Group. For the past year, he’s led 3D R&D programs aimed at launching new products and developing new materials for use in HP’s Multi-Jet Fusion 3D printers.
Prior to his current role, Erickson was involved extensively with inkjet printhead development, including process, product, and reliability engineering, in both research and development (R&D) and manufacturing, as well as digital projection, MEMS, and systems integration and solution development.
Prior to joining HP in 1992, Erickson served briefly as an engineer with NASA and at a small oil and gas startup.
Erickson holds a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from Brigham Young University, and a master’s degree in mechanical engineering from Stanford University. He also holds seven patents.
