Greetings. As you know, OSU is a major player in the innovation economy of the Willamette Valley. Since 2005, more than 20 biotech, energy, computer and medical technology companies have leveraged OSU research or spun out of the university. OSU's research and creativity are a driving force in economic development.
On Nov. 11, Willamette Innovators Night will take center stage at the LaSells Stewart Center. Since the university is a major sponsor through University Advancement, OSU students and faculty will be able to network with an audience of more than 500 business, government, education and research representatives. WiN fill feature an exhibit hall, presentations by business and technology leaders and the popular IGNITE presentations.
We welcome participation from your college. With an exhibit at WiN, your students and faculty will find opportunities to share ideas and raise the visibility of their programs and research projects. The benefit for all participants will be greater awareness of local expertise and resources and possibly new partnerships and support.
