Program Idea RE: Related Verticals

Folks - I have an idea that would help meet our intent of highly various industry verticals' technology, plant a seed for interest and participation of those companies in the future, and meet the deans' request for greater exposure/participation in the event: Let's use the related industry spaces and ask the deans to encourage/require their research faculty to exhibit what they are currently working on. From Engineering, Science and Business, that could cover a lot of locally-related companies. Then, we simply invite the related companies to attend the event and they can see how we have expanded the program to include their industry and engender a desire to participate next year.

I don't see this as the ONLY way to get an expanded industry platform built this year, but it certainly is an easy way to at least bait the hook and prime the pump...

Any thoughts?
