3 of us from the BEC attended the meeting and the BEC became a sponsor. It is a SSI event and program that the community should get behind and support. Posters and mailing list messages will be released soon. We need to get 100 people to attend the event on campus at OSU the evening of March 8th!  The mainstream might get some good and new ideas from joining this conversation. Come on old dogs, we are never too old to learn some new tricks and offerings. Get involved. If not for the Thursday night event in Corvallis one of the other offerings in Portland, Ashland or Eugene. You might even consider buying the book!!!

Could this be part of the Corvallis Sustainability Coalition Economic Vitaliy group's focus and efforts? I would hope so.

Nice to see another group of creative folks coming together to promote a better future. Will try to attend but unfortunately may already be booked. Keep posting here. Not sure what Sacred Economics is all about but can always learn. Sometimes it feels more like Scared Economics when 401K plans look more like 201K plans.
