SUMMARY:Cranial Electrotherapy Stimulation and Microcurrent Electrical
  Therapy
DESCRIPTION:Our seminars review the research, FDA status and clinical 
 use of CES and MET, safe and increasingly popular non-pharmacological 
 treatments of anxiety, depression, insomnia and pain. CES combines wel
 l with CBT, EMDR and biofeedback therapies and can be invaluable as a 
 clinical tool of every mental health practitioner. Certificates of pro
 ficiency are available upon successful completion of a multiple-choice
  test. WSPA CE: 7 hours*.\n\nLearning objectives:\n1. To gain an under
 standing of selected theories of electromedicine and to use them as a 
 foundation for clinical management of patients with mental health diso
 rders and pain.\n\n2. To gain understanding of CES and MET as non-inva
 sive therapies for anxiety, depression, insomnia and pain, including t
 he efficacy and safety of these modalities.\n\n3. To be able to descri
 be clinical findings for use of CES, administer CES, evaluate patientâ
 €™s response to CES and to be able to manage patients on CES long-term
  (includes discussion of clinical cases and how to incorporate CES int
